Jesse Wood
Vice President and Regional Manager, Rockies, Summit Midstream
Jesse Wood is responsible for Summit Midstream’s asset growth initiatives in the Rocky Mountain region. Wood has 33 years of experience in Rockies natural gas midstream development, including 20 years with UPRC and 4 years with DEFS where he served in various engineering, project management and leadership roles. He worked nine years as team leader for Encana executing midstream projects in the Rockies where he developed Encana’s Piceance basin midstream infrastructure to support over 1 BCF/day of gas production. Throughout his career, his teams have completed over $1.5 billion of new midstream projects including compressor stations, gas and liquid treating systems, gas processing and helium plants, NGL fractionation plants, wellhead gathering systems and gas transmission pipelines. Wood earned his B.S. degree in chemical engineering from New Mexico State University.
