Tim Carter
Director of Gas Supply, Xcel Energy
Tim Carter is the director of gas supply for Xcel Energy, a position he has held since 2004. He is currently responsible for overseeing the natural gas purchasing activity for the company’s gas fired generation and gas distribution systems, which amounts to in excess of 400 Bcf annually. Since 1992, Carter has held various positions in both the regulated and non-regulated gas supply areas within Xcel Energy and its predecessor Northern States Power Co.
